This deeply experiential, small-group workshop brings together somatic modalities, psychodrama, and narrative re-structuring (drawn from Pesso-Boyden / PBSP lineage) to help participants reconfigure relational templates, address early life wounds, and somatically imprint new inner realities. Inspired by the work of Bessel van der Kolk, Licia Sky, Gus Kaufman, and others, we will use somatic practices, movement, touch, voice, parts work, and visual/auditory input to create three-dimensional “structures” in space that open pathways for transformation.

Core Principles & Intentions
-
Our work will shift emphasis from “what happened to you” toward “who was or was not there for you” — exploring the relational voids, protective failures, and early attachments that shape internal maps.
-
Psychodrama Structures (as described in Chapter 18 of The Body Keeps the Score) will serve as the primary method: participants co-construct embodied scenes (structures) of their family or relational origins, then reimagine those scenes with embodied support, safety, and even play.
-
The work is designed to catalyze deep change in a concentrated time period — sometimes described as “doing ten years of therapy in one hour.”

What to Expect
-
This work is highly experiential, collaborative, and participatory.
-
Sessions may include scaffolding exercises, guided somatic/embodiment practices, integration time and group processing.
-
The container is best held in retreat style (living together, sharing meals, cohabiting the space). Many healing moments happen outside structured sessions, in conversation, rest, and mutual witnessing.
-
Quiet or rest time is built in to allow restoration, processing and integration. Participants are invited to communicate their needs.

Who This Is For
This workshop is suitable for participants who already have support (e.g. a therapist, coach, or therapeutic community) and are ready to engage in deep relational healing. It is especially relevant for those who have experienced neglect, attachment wounding, identity-based traumas, intergenerational trauma, or complex grief.
Commitment & Requirements
-
Participants are expected to be willing to actively engage in both giving and receiving in relational, embodied processes.
-
Prior personal work or therapeutic history is required.
-
Group size is limited to maintain the quality of the container.
What Participants Might Take Away
-
Access to new internal experiences of safety, belonging, and protective presence
-
Transformation of relational templates and internal maps
-
Somatic and narrative re-imprinting of unmet needs and longings
-
Integration of trauma, grief, and relational wounds in an embodied way
-
Connection to a peer group who can hold and witness each other’s process
Please note that participation in this workshop is required for those wishing to join the training. Please indicate your interest in the training in the workshop application form. Further information and a payment link will be sent after registration.
