What should I bring?
Please bring comfortable indoor clothing and a warm sweater, as the log-built main house can get chilly. Outdoor clothing suitable for the season is also recommended, including waterproof shoes year-round. Additionally, bring indoor shoes, swimwear, toiletries, and a hairdryer if needed.

Do you offer guest WiFi?
No, we encourage guests to disconnect as much as possible during their stay. Please use mobile data if needed.

Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. However, service dogs are of course welcome—please contact us in advance so we can prepare a suitable room.

Do you offer transportation?
We offer pickup from Elverum Station for an additional fee of NOK 200. Please request this during registration. There is no public transportation between Elverum and Søsætra, so we encourage carpooling whenever possible.

Can I arrive a day early or stay an extra night?
Unfortunately, this is not currently possible. Søsætra operates as a retreat and course center with fixed rental periods, meaning kitchen and staff are only available during scheduled retreats.

Can I stay in my own tent?
At this time, we are unable to accommodate tent camping. Our kitchen and facilities are designed for a maximum of 22 participants. The most affordable accommodation option is a shared double room at NOK 900 per person, per night.
