About us

Søsætra Retreatsted is the result of many years of experience, dreams and planning. We have experienced for ourselves how our lives have been transformed through meditation and personal development. Now we are passionate about creating a place where others can explore these practices and experience growth and healing.

The resort is owned and operated by the foundation En Bedre Verden. The foundation's purpose is to promote awareness, emotional and relational competence. Personal development and increased awareness are necessary for us to take better care of ourselves, each other and the planet we live on. The operation of Søsætra and the courses that will take place here are a central part of the foundation's work.

We work with skilled instructors to create a varied program of courses and retreats that are in line with the foundation's purpose. Please get in touch if you think Søsætra can fit your events.

Vision

We are creating a unique place for presence, silence and insight. A place that supports awareness, rest and compassion.

With great consideration and love we are creating an environment where you feel cared for and welcomed.
